Jannet Hendrix

Jannet’s primary focus at RTA Group is providing guidance to businesses in achieving their stated goals while solving financial management issues. Ms. Hendrix is a skilled financial leader with over 20 years of accounting and financial experience and holds both a master’s and bachelor’s degree in Accounting from San Diego State University, in addition to a CPA license in the State of California, which she earned in 2007.

Jannet’s portfolio includes a diverse background ranging from public accounting at a big-four accounting firm to a non-profit government organization to multi-national public companies, including Anheuser-Busch. Jannet served in various leadership roles, which included Deputy Director of Finance and Controller, where she was responsible for forecasting and managing an annual $500M budget, monitoring cost control, and providing ongoing financial analysis support. Jannet’s experience also includes managing a professional financial team and presenting financial information to the Board of Directors and Senior Management team in a clear and concise manner. Jannet continuously looks for process improvements and efficiency, which has led to thousands of dollars of savings annually, including the implementation of CorpSales software for the filing of sales and use taxes from manual to automated, reducing return preparation by 40% and saving over $50K annually.

Ms. Hendrix is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants where she previously served as a committee member of the Tax Practice and Improvement Committee, in addition to authoring several articles in the Tax Advisor. Outside of work, Jannet enjoys spending time with her family and traveling around the world.
